Security Fence
 
We have both an inner perimeter fence, and an outer perimeter fence. The
inner perimeter fence is 12 feet high topped with razor ribbon. The outer
perimeter fence by First DeFence is fifteen feet high and surrounds the
entire complex.
Control Room
We have a Control Room which is staffed twenty-four hours a day. Our
twenty-nine cameras, sixteen of which have pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities,
give around-the-clock surveillance via eleven 21" monitors. Our security
system and monitoring system were installed by Security One.
Emergency Generator
Our emergency generator will make it possible for us to operate
independently of the local power grid in case of power outages.
Transportation
 
Transportation "Agencies prisoners incarcerated at Facility pursuant to this
Agreement shall be transported to Facility by and at the expense of
Facility, and shall be returned upon posting bond, upon time served, by
court order, or whenever necessary, to Agency by Facility personnel and at
Facility's expense." (This is a direct quote from our confinement agreement.
'Facility' refers to Integrity Correctional Centers. 'Agency' refers to the
jurisdiction with whom we have an agreement.) The agencies within a sixty
(60) mile driving radius are not responsible for transportation of the
Agency's prisoners under this agreement."
Burglar Bars
We have installed burglar bars in all of our duct work.
Motion Detectors
The Administration Building has motion detectors above the ceiling. The
alarm indicator pad is in the Control Room and indicates where the ceiling
is being breached.
Segregation Cells
There are eight maximum security segregation cells, two in each of the four
dormitories. They meet the ACA requirements for segregation and the ceilings
are 10' 8" high with a flush surface (nothing hanging or protruding. A noise
barrier has been added to this cell area to reduce unwanted noise between
the general population inmates in the dormitory and the disciplinary
segregation inmates.
Video Arraignment
We have installed all the equipment necessary to provide video arraignment
services for any jurisdiction that requests it. This will definitely
eliminate the security issue involved in transporting. It will also save
time and reduce travel costs.
Two-Way Radio Link
We have a direct radio link with the Johnson County, Missouri Sheriff's
Department. This radio is for emergency purposes only.
